Cosmetic Packaging Molds & Injection Molding

Molds and molded packaging cases with appearance, fit, decoration and final handling considered together.

A complete appearance-part brief

We support mold components, complete molds and injection production for cosmetic packaging boxes, cases and related customer-defined plastic parts. The project can extend to agreed painting, printing, suitable plating, assembly and packing. Send the complete packaging assembly and the intended appearance, not only one external shell. Hinges, closures, inserts and decorated interfaces should be reviewed before the tool design is released.

Specify what the customer will see and touch

Mark visible faces, parting-line restrictions, gate-witness zones and areas where sink, mismatch or handling marks would be unacceptable. Provide color, gloss, polish or texture references and identify whether the final appearance comes from the mold, the resin or a secondary finish. Decoration artwork and its location belong in the design review because coatings and printing can interact with fit and assembly.

AssemblyIndividual part and assembly models, closure interfaces, inserts, fit and opening requirements.
MaterialResin grade, transparency or color, contents-contact conditions where relevant and required evidence.
AppearanceApproved reference, viewing conditions, cosmetic zones, polish/texture and permissible witness locations.
DecorationPainting, printing or specified plating; artwork revision, masking, color and adhesion/test requirements.
Supply and packingTrial and repeat quantities, assembled or separate parts, protective packaging and destination.

Tooling and sample approval

We connect DFM, cavity and core manufacture, finishing, fitting and trials. Samples are evaluated for dimensions, assembly and appearance under agreed conditions. Where a decorated finish is part of the product, approval should include that finished condition rather than stopping at an undecorated molded sample. Changes to the resin, surface treatment or artwork are recorded with the project revision.

Protect the finish through delivery

Handling and packing should protect visible surfaces and keep variants clearly identified. The scope may include inspection, assembly, counting and individually protected or bulk-packed parts as agreed. Automatic operations are considered after the required appearance and assembly quality are understood. The quotation separates mold supply, molding, decoration and packing so the purchased scope is clear.

Can you quote from a reference sample?

A sample can start a development discussion. We still establish the controlled geometry, material and appearance acceptance before tooling. A photograph alone is not an exact color, gloss or texture standard, and suitability for contact with a particular formulation requires the agreed material and product validation.
