MOLDING / SILICONE
Silicone Micro
Injection Molding
Small silicone parts and sealing features, developed with the tool and the assembly in mind.
We support liquid silicone rubber molding, precision tooling and silicone overmolding of compatible plastic or metal inserts. Begin with a part drawing, a sealing problem or a sample that needs improvement. Material, molding and verification are reviewed as one project.

What we can make
Custom small seals, thin sealing lips, connector interface seals and silicone-overmolded assemblies are project directions. We can include material review, LSR mold design, sample molding, part inspection and the agreed assembly or handling steps. Tooling may be delivered independently or retained for production.
Specify the function, not only the shape
| Silicone material | Exact grade, hardness target, color and required documentation. Grade selection remains part of the review when not fixed. |
| Micro features | Minimum cross-section, flow path, local thickness, gate witness and handling surfaces identified on the drawing. |
| Flash and parting line | Permitted flash location and size, sealing surfaces and accessible inspection method agreed before tooling. |
| Overmolded inserts | Substrate grade, surface coating, dimensional variation, location method and required retention or bonding performance. |
| Acceptance | Dimensional checks and agreed sealing or assembly tests on physical samples; no universal waterproof rating is assumed. |
| Quantity and delivery | Development samples, pilot quantities and repeat production scoped separately. First trial, approved sample and delivered-part dates are distinct. |
How far the capability extends
Our Type-C interface project record documents LSR overmolding with PA66 + 30% glass fiber and plated stainless components, with tooling and equipment delivery. That record identifies a part accuracy of ±0.03 mm and a mold accuracy of ±0.0015 mm for that project. These values describe different items; they are not a blanket tolerance for every silicone geometry. Minimum weight, flash limit and sealing performance are confirmed on the specific grade, drawing and test plan.
From review to repeat production
We first identify the working surfaces and assembly interfaces. The tooling review covers cavity construction, insert location, filling, parting and removal. Trial samples are checked against the agreed dimensions and function. Corrections and material or process changes are documented before approval for repeat production. Automated handling is considered where it protects the part or removes a proven bottleneck.
Start a project
Send the 2D drawing and available 3D model, silicone grade or hardness target, mating components, critical surfaces, service conditions, sample quantity and required arrival date. A sketch or failed sample is also a useful starting point. Request an NDA before sharing confidential geometry.
