APPLICATIONS / AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING HOUSINGS
Automotive Lighting Housing Molds & Injection Molding
Housing tooling and related molded plastic parts with mounting, assembly, appearance and the required validation defined together.
A housing-focused manufacturing scope
We support precision cores, cavities and inserts, complete molds and injection-molded lighting housings or related enclosures. A project can include engineering review, trial samples, agreed surface finishing and assembly support. Optical lenses, reflectors and finished-lighting performance are separate requirements and must be identified explicitly; a housing-mold service is not a blanket claim of full lamp-system approval.
Interfaces that affect tool design
Provide the mating cover, mounting details, seal or joining interfaces, inserts and internal clearances. Identify dimensional references used for assembly and any visible surfaces. We review the geometry with material, shrinkage assumptions, gate and parting-line locations, cooling, side actions and ejection. Requirements for sealing, loading, temperature or other use conditions should be attached as a test specification, not left implicit in the application name.
| Drawings | Part and assembly revisions, mounting datums, mating components and critical dimensions. |
| Material | Resin grade, reinforcement, color and customer-specified environmental or material requirements. |
| Appearance and finish | Visible areas, texture/polish reference, coating zones and protected joining surfaces. |
| Approval | Dimensional reports, cavity samples, assembly/function tests and customer-specific submission requirements. |
| Delivery | Tool export or molded supply, forecast and release quantities, spare components and packaging. |
Engineering and trial records
The agreed program connects DFM, mold design, manufacture, fitting and trials. Samples are identified by revision and cavity and evaluated under the defined measurement conditions. Dimensional findings, appearance and assembly results are reviewed separately. Tool corrections and material changes are recorded before the next approval stage, helping the receiving team understand what was tested and what remains open.
Production, finishing and handover
Molded supply may include agreed trimming, suitable finishing, marking, inspection and packing. For tools running at the customer’s factory, the tool design incorporates the receiving press and specified component interfaces. The purchase scope identifies trial evidence, design documentation, maintenance information, spare parts and shipment protection. Any customer-specific quality submission or certification requirement is reviewed before order acceptance rather than claimed from an unrelated project.
