Power-Tool Housing, Handle & Battery Case Molds

Precision mold components, complete tools and molded plastic parts for products that must assemble, feel right and withstand their specified use.

Products and tooling we can support

Our scope includes power-tool housing halves, handles, battery-case structures and related plastic components. Orders can cover cores, cavities and replaceable inserts, a complete conventional or multi-component mold, trial samples or repeat molding. Soft-contact regions, inserts and downstream assembly are reviewed as defined parts of the program, not assumed to be included in every housing.

Review the assembly before the external shape

Provide the mating housing, internal component envelope, fasteners, locating features and assembly sequence. We review ribs and bosses, joining interfaces, permissible witness lines and areas that must remain free of flash. For handles or multi-material regions, define the intended contact, retention and appearance. For battery cases, identify mechanical interfaces and the material requirements supplied by the product design team; the enclosure alone does not establish approval of a battery system.

Product inputHousing and assembly drawings, current revision, mating parts and protected cosmetic areas.
Material and finishResin grade, reinforcement, color, grip material where relevant, texture reference and secondary finish.
Tooling decisionsCavity arrangement, side actions, insert locations, shut-offs, cooling and target production machine.
ValidationFit, fastener assembly, dimensions, appearance and customer-specified loading or environmental tests.
Delivery routeComponent-only, mold export or molded supply with agreed assembly, marking and packaging.

Conventional, two-shot and insert-molding routes

A conventional tool may be the practical route for a single-material housing. A two-shot or three-shot project requires the material regions, process sequence and equipment interfaces to be developed together. Insert molding adds its own incoming-insert, loading and protection requirements. We explain the proposed route and separate tooling investment, trial work, molded quantities and downstream operations in the quotation.

From first shots to production

Trials record the tool revision, material and cavity identification. The sample review combines dimensions with actual assembly and appearance evaluation. Approved changes are tracked before the next trial. Production can include take-out, inspection, suitable finishing, printing, assembly and final packing. For tools delivered overseas, agree the receiving press, standard components, trial records, spare details and maintenance information in advance.

Already have a tool with a problem?

Send the tool and product drawings, recent samples, defect photographs and available trial records. We can review a replacement insert, local tool correction or a wider manufacturing issue without assuming the whole mold needs replacement.
